Tax Compliance Officer

Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, the postholder will calculate tax and social security rates for client submissions based on established norms along with review monthly/annual income summaries and prepare tax reconciliations. Other responsibilities will include dealing with internal enquiries regarding payment of international tax and social burdens and maintaining relationships within key Orion Group functions and regions to ensure that rate build ups are in order from a contractual and statutory viewpoint. The Tax Compliance Officer will also liaise with third party accounting and taxation advisors, undertake specific tax projects and support compliance improvement and development initiatives across the Group.

As training will be provided, this role would suit somebody with solid experience gained within a bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting environment who is looking to pursue a progressive career in tax. Accuracy, working to deadlines and effective communication skills are essential for this role.
