An International oil and gas company, operating across numerous countries is seeking a fully qualified Tax Advisor. The company offer a competitive reward package of base salary, incentives and benefits which is designed to attract, retain and motivate the best talent in their industry.

The Tax function is now seeking to hire a Tax Advisor based in their London Corporate Office. You will be responsible for providing support to group and business unit tax teams and advice to internal stakeholders on a range of corporate and operational taxes issues and compliance matters.


  • Co-ordinating operational tax compliance activities internationally with third party service providers
  • Advising Supply Chain and other stakeholders on the tax aspects of commercial contracts
  • Advising on the application of Production sharing agreements terms and double tax treaties for overseas jurisdictions
  • Supporting work on in-house and third party corporate tax compliance
  • Assisting with group corporate tax planning, capital structure maintenance and M&A activities
  • Managing group projects, e.g. transfer pricing

You will be ACA/Tax qualified with experience of international corporate taxes from an in-house role or private practice and be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion
  • Proven ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statute
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Ability to advise on a pragmatic and commercially aware basis
