An exciting temporary opportunity has come to the Edinburgh market for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Our client, one of the UK's largest online technology companies, based in Edinburgh is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team for a couple of months to provide cover within the team. You'll be responsible for managing a pipeline of applicants from attraction through to offer stage, promoting the FreeAgent employee experience across multiple channels including online, over the phone and at events.

Key Duties & Responsibilities;

  • You'll be required to build great working relationships with managers and provide advice and guidance through end to end vacancy management. You will be expected to bring value and insight to discussions that you've gained from your previous experience.
  • You'll use your sourcing skills to identify relevant talent in your business area, and be confident in reaching out to potential candidates. You'll easily build rapport with applicants as they progress through the pipeline and be available and proactive in your approach.
  • You'll help shape and update our vacancy adverts and effectively communicate our requirements with some of our key agency partners.
  • You'll be arranging a range of interviews from phone screens to final stage, involving multiple stakeholders, requiring careful planning and preparation.

Skills & Experience Required;

You'll be available immediately and have solid recruitment background gained within an agency and/or an in-house role. You'll have excellent communication skills and self-awareness, with an ethical, empathetic and consultative approach.

Ideal but not essential;

  • have experience of technical recruitment as a recruiter or resourcer
  • have used recruitment tools and software
  • have a strong preference for collaborative working within a friendly and supportive team

What's on Offer;

  • Immediate Start!
  • Initially 2/3 month assignment
  • £12 - £15 per hour (dependant on experience)
