Job description

We have a current opportunity for a TA Process Engineer on a contract basis.

This is a 4/4 rotation on a long term (several years) assignment in Algeria. Probable start is quarter 2 2023.

The primary role of the Technical Authorities (TA) is to act as technical integrity advisor within designated engineering discipline by ensuring the safe and consistent application of national regulatory codes, site technical practices and engineering standards.

The TA shall provide assurance to the EA that all equipment and systems under their responsibility meets the Standard of Performance, and that plans are put in place to rectify any deviation that is identified.

The position - Working closely with the EA, discipline TA's and other operations stakeholders, the process TA is responsible for developing and maintaining all relevant process engineering discipline policies and procedures to ensure the safe and reliable operation of processes, systems and equipment.

The TA's report to the Technical Support Team Leader or Integrity Engineer TL. However, issues like approval of technical concessions and STP's shall be brought directly to the EA for his/her approval.

Process TA, will lead and coordinate all aspects of process management and technical integrity within the Operations team supporting the Engineering Authority(EA), and TA's.

The position is suited to an experienced senior engineer capable of working in remote locations, with minimum support, as part of an international team of professional engineers representing all joint venture shareholders . The position is also expected to work Back-to-back with and to be able to mentor in the Process Engineering discipline.
