Our client is currently recruiting for the position of SCM Systems Support Focal Point, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities Include
Applying sound business / SCM judgment and decision making to support SCM business objectives Providing coaching on the application of modern SCM principles to all SCM personnel as it applies to the P2P process and SCM systems.
Build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and with other support functions to ensure alignment and efficient working of SCM systems and the P2P process.
Ensure the availability and the provision of support for all business critical SCM systems - MAXIMO and Contracts system.
Coordinate the maintenance of the Contract system in combination with the business stream Team.
Leads to ensure that the agreed process and methodologies are being adhered to and that the data integrity is maintained.
Ensure the provision of Management reporting associated with all SCM systems.
Ensure rigorous control exists in regard to the access and privileges for all users of SCM systems.
Work with the Lead Systems and Control analyst to identify and implement improvements in the P2P process that will deliver efficiencies and more effective working practices.
Coordinate and deliver all training requirements for SCM systems used by appropriate RSRUK personnel - MAXIMO and Contracts system.
Coordinate and deliver all training requirements on SCM systems used solely by SCM personnel - MAXIMO and Contracts system.
Coordinate and deliver the development/coaching of a "key user" network for the support of SCM systems.
Conduct systems audits to identify areas of non-compliance and work with appropriate Team Leads to address rectification (additional training or supervision) of non-conformities with the individuals concerned.
Conduct audits to identify non-compliance and improvements in the P2P (Purchase to Pay) process in combination with users and Finance function.

Qualifications & Experience
Ideally Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Computer Studies, Finance or other relevant subject or suitable equivalent experience through on the job training and development.
Post Graduate Diploma or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Computer Studies
Membership of CIPS.
Good experience of SCM operations in the Oil & Gas Industry preferably with an Operator or Tier 1 Contractor.
Specific experience of Oil & Gas Supply Chain Management in the UKCS and an understanding of the business requirements of operations, reservoir & wells and project support.
Experience of leading small SCM teams and the coaching and development of team personnel
Working knowledge of Sourcing and Category Management processes.
Good experience in Materials Management, Inventory Management, Warehousing Operations and Logistics.
Experience of the overall P2P (Purchase to Pay) process as it applies to a UKCS Operator and the ability to author supporting documentation (procedures/work instructions etc.)
Extensive experience with ERP/EAMS systems (specifically Maximo) and other associated SCM systems and their application, support, development and reporting capabilities.
Experience in the development of training and coaching for the support and utilization of SCM systems
