Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Operational Readiness Lead on behalf of our Multinational Biopharmaceutical client based in Co. Meath on an initial 11-month contract.

The Supply Chain Operational Readiness Lead is responsible for managing delivery of the Supply Chain Operational Readiness Plan the consistency, visualization, and management of the project execution through effective communication plans and stakeholder management via the Governance Process.

Key responsibilities for the Supply Chain Operational Readiness Lead will be to engage and work collaboratively across the Enterprise (Local and Global) to ensure the Supply Chain and Engineering System is successfully deployed. The Supply Chain Operational Readiness Lead will work closely with the Supply Chain and Engineering Lead, MRL, Agile Leads, Business Owners and IT to support the implementation of the Supply Chain ORP Plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Program manage the Bionx Supply Chain Workstream as outlined in the team charter.
  • Manage the key stakeholders and map out the plans and timelines for the standing up of the key warehouse systems.
  • Manage MMD Stakeholders (onsite and above site) and MRL stakeholders (onsite and above site) to ensure the vision for the Dunboyne site is achieved.
  • Ensure end user feedback is built into facility design.
  • Resource analysis for the workstream is completed and the required budget secured.
  • Chair the workstream meetings and attend Bionx core team as required.

  • Develop project plans, roles and responsibilities, stakeholder maps and communication plans
  • Engage Project Stakeholders both locally and Globally to effectively drive projects
  • Facilitate workshops to gather and define project scopes and business requirements and support project resourcing workshops and interdependencies
  • Provide Governance Updates and Issue Dashboards on the status of the Programme linked to Delivery, Resourcing and Costs
  • Management of the Data and Visualization of status of the Programme
  • Identify and implement process improvements and solutions
  • Automated Metric Reporting supporting Business Needs and Visualization via the appropriate Channels supporting Business Needs
  • Management of the Risk Register and Decision log related to the Bionx programme

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business/Science related discipline.
  • A background of working in advanced automated manufacturing operations with integrated sophisticated processes.
  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • 8+ years' experience required in a leadership role with a multi-national organisation.
  • Biologics drug substance manufacturing experience is desired.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools such as Spotfire, Tableau and PowerApps and MS Office Products.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
  • Organization Skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.
