Orion Group are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator for our multinational medical devices client based in the West Yorkshire area on an initial 3-month contract with the potential to extend.
Job Purpose
The Consignment Team are a key part of the UK Supply Planning Department. The Consignment Analyst is responsible for supporting the client consignment cycle count process ensuring all compliance and audit requirements are met. The Consignment Analyst role includes working with the UK/IRE Sales and Marketing Team and the S&OP Coordinators in support of procedures for maximising the efficiency of consigned inventory. The role will be cross functional working across the JDE 8:12 system.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Responsible for the accuracy of the consigned inventory in the field
  • Provide consignment stock listings to Account Managers and hospitals as required
  • Manage the return of consignment stock
  • Supply consignment stock information to hospitals as required
  • Update stock on the hospital's account as and when it is moved
  • Invoice out of consignment, stock used and not replaced or stock wished to be purchased
  • Support the instrument redeployment process
  • Ability to work cross functionally supporting additional S&OP responsibilities
  • Support UK Inventory profiling
  • Work closely with the S&OP team to ensure new deployments are inventory efficient

Desired Experience and Background of the successful candidate

  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical (good EXCEL skills preferable)
  • Working knowledge of JDE 8:12/ SAP
  • Work well with others
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Able to build strong external and internal relationships - will need to work well in a team
  • Working as part of wider UK Supply Planning Team, must be flexible to accept tasks outside area of responsibility
