We are looking for a Subsurface Manager for the middle east for an operator.

  • Plan and direct reservoir engineering related operations and assessment programmes and lead the estimation and evaluation of hydrocarbon reserves and future reservoir performance under various operating conditions. Recommend and directs optimum and economic reservoir management practices.
  • Lead reservoir modelling and simulation, reserves estimation and reservoir performance prediction. In Assist Portfolio Management team with the economic evaluation of various exploration programmes and recommend the most feasible reservoir management plans.
  • Direct and monitor reservoir engineering programmes, reservoir characterization & simulation programmes and core laboratory activities and recommends development well and workover (D&W) drilling programmes, long range exploration & development plans and appropriate oil and gas exploitation techniques based on reservoir engineering study and analysis of accumulated reservoir data in conformity with the Company's long range plan within approved budgets.

Support the Reserves & Resources team to establish, maintain and improve the Reserves Categorization (categorizing reserves into Contingent, Possible, Probable, Proved etc.),

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering/Geology/Geophysics

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Exploration & Field Development operations with at least 4-6 years at a supervisory level
