Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Subsea Engineer - Light Well Intervention (LWI), based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare company owned equipment with OEM or others
* Prepare engineering scopes any interface equipment required
* Oversee and deliver any additionally required equipment
* Complete spares check and order accordingly
* System integration test supervision
* Demobilise, maintain, and preserve customer owned equipment via nominated OEM/Contractor
* Provide technical support to company drilling teams for Subsea Light Well Intervention
* Prepare Subsea subject related content for inclusion in well program
* Liaise with LWI service provider project personnel on Subsea Equipment and Well Entry procedures.
* Assist in the preparation and follow up of the subsea section of program and operations budget.
* Support the generation of AFE's and planning
* Identify compliance within company and statutory standards
* Provide operational support to company in event of subsea well control incident
* Ensure completeness of well handover
* Deliver end of well report content
* Provide expertise on subsea completion and subsea well servicing interventions.
* Act as engineer in-charge/responsible for Subsea discipline specific subjects during LWI campaign
* Supervise 3rd Party contractors work when required
* Ensure Offshore personnel receive adequate instructions to carry out their task safely.
* Ensuring any hazard or incident is reported immediately in accordance with Company procedure

Experience & Qualifications:
* Educated to Degree level or similar via qualified industry training with appropriate experience and able to demonstrate high level of technical knowledge in the Subsea area with appropriate experience in Light Well Intervention, Subsea Engineering design, manufacture or offshore drilling operations
* Shall have detailed knowledge of Light Well Intervention operations with a demonstratable experience in LWI campaign Engineering, Execution and Supervision.
* Shall have demonstratable experience in Dual Bore Vertical Xmas Tree systems as well as Horizontal Xmas Tree systems and the associated IWOCs for each.
* The job holder should have good working knowledge of internal and external rules, standards and procedures in the environmental areas, awareness of Well Control company directives and be trained to level appropriate to statutory regulations
* Planning, management and negotiation skills should be clearly demonstrable
* Valid Offshore Survival Training Certificate, MIST certificate, OEUK Offshore Medical certificate, IWCF or similar.
