As a Senior Subcontracts Manager, you'll will be doing the following;

  • Identifying and qualifying new construction contractors and Engineering companies meeting company requirements
  • Developing strategies and leading the commercial contracting negotiations for construction subcontract, engineering services, EPC and major equipment categories aligning to project requirements.
  • Developing and negotiating framework engineering agreements to support a competitive offering.
  • Developing efficient bid tabulations and leading Construction sourcing reviews with cross functional teams.
  • Launching enquiries with vendor organisations using e-Sourcing tools (Ariba / Qlick view) to receive and process contractor quotations/proposals

To be successful you will have;

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with significant experience in a similar (Engineering/EPC) or related environment. MBA will be highly regarded.
  • Strong influencing, communication and negotiating skills, including cross cultures and geographies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical and non-technical information
  • Thorough understanding and prior experience in contracts and contractual language
  • Excellent oral and written English proficiency is essential. Second language is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of macro-economic factors
  • Working knowledge of SAP and requisition to pay processes
