Job Title: Strategic Supplier Lead

Location: Bristol

Background: This role plays a key part in the Procurement and Supply Chain Function, that will be responsible for the interface between the Procurement Supply Chain and the Strategic SUPPLIER Supply Chain on a Nuclear Engineering project in the South West of England.

Role: * Ensuring that bulk procurement interfaces with the strategic supply chain and clearly communicated, managed and where necessary influenced * Ensuring that both supply chains are aware and are managing the needs of each other * Identifying, resolving and if necessary escalating issues so that cost and schedule impacts are mitigated * Other tasks as necessary as part of the MEH P&SC Lead Team and as directed by the Project Procurement Director

Qualifications and Experience: * Business / Finance / Engineering or other related degree * MCIPS is preferable * Proven track record in the nuclear or similar regulated sector, including working on major construction projects * Detailed working knowledge of NEC3 & NEC4 contracts and their application on Major Projects * Track record of delivering year-on-year Procurement savings * Experience of managing sourcing projects through lifecycle * Good communication skills * Detailed knowledge of the Supply Chain and International supply and procurement Must be able to obtain SC clearance, or must have held SC clearance within the last 12 months
