Job description

Length of Contract: 8 months

Location/Site: Lake County, IL

Pay Rate: $75 - $100 (Depending on years of experience)

Strategic Project Manager (HOER)

Responsibilities:

  • Drives annual Strategic Planning processes within TA/COE area of responsibility
  • Prepares strategic recommendations for TA/COE VP and drives issue resolution to achieve $10 15MM budget target
  • Facilitates execution of complex research contracts
  • Partners with TA/COE VP to prepare strategic recommendations for HEOR LT
  • Engages peers to share/drive best practices across HEOR
  • Establishes and drives utilization of Preferred Supplier Network to optimize quality and cost effectiveness of External Research
  • Ensures systems/tools/reports available to provide fingertip access to all information needed by department
  • Partners with TA/COE VP to drive vision/priorities.
  • Drives collaboration across TA's / COE's to optimize utilization of HEOR operating model.
  • Coordinates and communicates project/process issue resolution with finance, purchasing, legal, OEC, CCG, GPC management.
  • Serves as single point of contact for Study Leads interpreting and providing guidance on company policies and procedures, OPPF, and individual state and country compliance measures and guidelines for working with HCPs/suppliers.
  • Provides user requirements and recommendations to implement and enhance systems to automate processes. Promotes consistent application of system governance and aids in troubleshooting anomalies.

Preferred Background/Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize various aspects of scientific studies, including project start-up, compliance documentation, budget management, study deliverable and timeline management, and project closeout.
  • Proficient in the tools and techniques of Project Management and / or Business Excellence; Proficient technology skills (e.g., MS Office software, SharePoint Skills).
  • Prefer management/supervisory experience; ability to manage and lead teams in matrix environment.
  • Ability to work independently. Strong written and interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, problem solving skills, and decision-making. Ability to clearly present, influence, and logically justify positions/proposals. Self-motivated. Strong organizational skills with a focus on details.
  • Cross-functional and global project team leadership experience.
