Stores/ Forklift Driver
Location - Perth
Immediate start
Contract with view to Permanent
Rate - £10.50 per hour

Our client, a successful and innovative Engineering Business is seeking to source a skilled Stores Assistant with Forklift experience. Ideal candidate will have had experienced of operating Counterbalance and Reach and hold valid licences (although in-house training and testing available).

The role will be working 37 hours on Dayshift 8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to 12.30 pm Friday, overtime maybe available and paid at Time & Half.

Duties will include:
* Issue of components and consumables to shop floor personnel
* Ensuring accurate stock levels recorded on their computerized stock system (training given)
* Goods in, taking delivery of stock and operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts (experience required however in-house training and testing available)
* Moving goods via Forklift to different areas within the manufacturing area
* Weekly stock level reporting

Person Spec:
* Good communication skills
* Strong team focus
* IT literate
* Experience of Forklift operations
* Able to adhere to strict H&S regulations
* Good attention to deal
* Able to work in fast paced environment
