My 3rd Party Logisitcs client is looking for immediately available Warehouse Admin Support/ Stock Control Operatives based at their site in Haydock.My client is a market . withiin their respetive field and you will report into the Warehouse Team Leader, with various shift patterns available.

The individual will be ideally immediately available and be directly responsible for the preparation of all picking documentation and labels in the Warehouse management system. An experienced member of staff who is familiar with the different types of work flows across the warehouse. The individual will require strong communication skills at all levels and demonstrate a proactive approach to solving problems. The role itself will be a development role which will encompass the individual being trained up to a level that will enable them to apply for future team leader vacancies.

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Attention to detail when entering data into the Warehouse management system.
  • A proactive approach to escalating issues through the correct channels of management within the Operation

  • A disciplined approach to ensuring that standard working procedures are always adhered to. Any exceptions should be immediately reported to a Team Leader or Shift Manager.
  • Strong organisational skills to ensure a methodical approach to the planning and preparation of work.
  • To be organised in such a way that we have full traceability of all process steps followed whilst preparing picks and the documentation associated to the tasks in the Warehouse management system.
  • A flexible approach to working in different areas of the warehouse alongside Team Leaders.
  • A flexible approach to performing different tasks, which could include picking, packing or loading.
  • In the absence of a Team Leader to take full responsibility for the environment you are working in
  • To participate and ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping are promoted and achieved through effective controls and management that conform to group standards.
  • When covering a Team Leader to demonstrate strong leadership skills when managing the area and the staff.
  • To effectively manage the resource efficiently to ensure high levels of productivity that meet our Principals service levels. To maintain all roll call and KPI documentation when covering the role of a Team Leader.
  • To always promote and ensure a quality mindset in order to comply with legislation, ISO, Health & Safety, MHRA and Company policy.
