General Assignment

An experienced Steel Work Engineer is required to support the steelworks (SW) pilot in the delivery of the SW programme. As part of a team, the Steel Work Engineer will be responsible for preparing and delivering the documentation required to design and substantiate the secondary steel platforms within the Balance of Nuclear Island buildings project.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Degree qualified in an appropriate technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience

Experience of structural steel design

Experience in the design of seismically qualified steel platforms and structures from concept to detailed design delivery.

Experience of using 3D modelling and structural analysis tools

Fluent in English

Desirable

Knowledge and understanding of PWRs

French speaker
