Control Room specialist:


From the centrally located Control Room, directing and controlling process-related activities. Functional management of operators, specialists and technicians, taking into account the (quality) requirements such as GMP guidelines, safety regulations and SOPs in order to realize an optimal production process.

  1. Goals:

Coordinate the planning and implement production support activities or have them carried out so that the production plans can be realized efficiently.

Core activities:

  • Coordinating and supervising on personnel and production planning in consultation with the Shift manager.
  • Monitoring and adjusting of automated processes, process progress, process-based and preparatory work.
  • Release of production activities based on measurement and analysis results (PMS system, free weigh results).
  • Editing freezers from the Control Room.
  • Identifying and immediately exchanging deviations and malfunctions and stopping the work when guidelines and procedures are involved (process).
  • Explain, monitor and corrective action with regard to the enforcement of quality and safety regulations (personnel).
  • Coordinate and resolve malfunctions / deviation requirements in equipment and processes, possibly in coincidence, instead of supporting departments (E&M, QA. QC).

  1. Functional control

  • Ensuring effective communication and information flow both bottom-up, top-down and with others


  • Guiding and instructing around 25 - 30 employees.
  • Supervise the implementation of the whey in accordance with GMP guidelines.

  1. Reporting

l Reporting and documenting production and control data, deviations and key figures and control numbers so that a reliable and up-to-date representation of the production process is recorded.

  • Monitoring and assessing data and documentation in the Control Room.
  • Revising and batch document orientation and process reports,
  • Coordinate, register and report on Maintenance and Utility activities.
  • Register deviation eu, disruptions, details in Trackwize.
  • Alarm handling JV CPS.
  • Creating and reviewing PMS reports.


- Minimum Bachelor + thinking

- Experience as a Control Room Specialist

- Mastery of Dutch and English

- Experience with guiding and instructing a team (20+ people)

- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment
