Responsibilities:

- Enforce TERUSA Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policy in all their responsibilities and ensure that external third parties (EPC
firms and consultants) operate in a manner acceptable to TERUSA HSE standards.
- Manage the review of engineering design packages and SCADA designs to assure compliance with the contract, permits, codes,
utility design standards, and plant operating and maintenance requirements.
- Manages the owner's engineer and technical consultants of projects in the preconstruction and execution stages of utility-scale
renewable projects.
- Prepare design and construction packages for HV substation and PV plant modifications, upgrade and replacement and
administrate MOCs for associated changes in the operating plant.
- Lead technical portion of major electrical equipment purchase through the entire procurement cycle, including specification, bid
evaluation, contractor qualification, vendor selection, inspection plan development, FAT, and spare parts recommendation.
- Perform power system modeling (ETAP) for load flow, short circuit, incident energy, and protective device coordination during the
development and operations stage of the project to ensure appropriate equipment ratings and power system performance.
- Provide technical support to contractors and vendors during design and construction to resolve technical queries, formal RFIs, and
interface issues with TSP, QSE, and ISOs.
- Prepare technical specifications, design basis, concept design, budgetary estimates, and RFP scope of work documents.
- Perform technical evaluations of project proposals to ensure conformance to the RFP scope.
- Provide technical direction and support in construction efforts, commissioning, and start-up and assist with troubleshooting or
problem-solving required to meet installation deadlines.
- Work and effectively communicate with a construction team to execute assigned projects.
- Review and ensure the technical integrity of design packages prior to being issued for construction.
- Work closely with an electrical specialist to provide technical support for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and failure analysis
related to electrical installation failures at TERUSA facilities.
- Prepare technical recommendations through the collection, analysis, and summary of data and
trends, as well as identify optimization opportunities and initiate plant equipment replacement,
improvement, and modification projects.

Skills/ Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis on Power systems is desirable.
- 6+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, preferably with the owner and operating company experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical transmission and power distribution systems in industrial environments and experience supporting
electrical design throughout all project phases, including pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, and
operation.
- PE or P. Eng license is required.
- Solid understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, NETA, NEC, NFPA 70E).
- Proficiency with power system modeling (ETAP or SKM)
- Knowledge of PV plant design and value engineering concepts.
- Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, set realistic goals, and complete commitments on schedule.

- Proven ability to anticipate, assist, and respond quickly to business unit needs that affect safe and reliable operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision, self-starting and proactive, and has strong organizational
skills.
- US work permit.
