Based in our Aberdeen office we now have an excellent opportunity for a Software Tester (Support Analyst), who will provide support for systems developed and assist in their full implementation.

The successful applicant will have strong experience of software testing and documenting test procedures.

The successful candidate will also have relevant qualifications for the successful completion of duties, along with knowledge and understanding of the following areas:

  • Testing / QA of Orbit CMS software.
  • Providing first line support via email and telephone to resolve Client's issues.
  • Logging incidents, bug and feature requests in ticketing system.
  • Updating documentation and Software User Manual.
  • Backup, restore and update of Client and development databases.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent written communication skills are essential.
  • Understanding of Visual Studio 2010-2019 would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2012+.
  • Experience using MS Office.
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry and commissioning terminology would be preferable.
  • Preferably experience with software assembly/packaging/deployment.
