Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled Site Manager to be based at multiple sites across Kansas, Utah, Arizona, California, and possibly Texas.

In addition, you will be reimbursed for accommodation, truck, etc., or provided per diem, and travel costs will be reimbursed.

You must be strong on safety and have the OSHA 30 certification.

The ideal candidate must have an electrical background and be able to effectively communicate with customers and union workers while possessing a solid understanding of utilities and HV.

Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning management activities related to this scope. Impacts approaches, projects, and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The rol autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.


- Roles and responsibility

  • Supervisory roles (i.e. site manager) acting under the direction and on behalf of project leader.

  • Leads site team and manages execution of the project scope of work. Could also be managing multiple sites for the project.

  • Ensures schedule, quality, and cost, are in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations.

  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.

  • Serves as best practice/quality resource.

  • Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.

  • Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them

  • Takes new perspective on existing solutions.

  • Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.

  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.


- Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Fu

  • Minimum of 3 years of advanced experience in High voltage Utilities, HVDC, Substation and Capacitor Bank construction, site installation and commissioning with deeply understanding the electrical design,

  • Travel Domestically as job needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
