Job description

Our Client, a business specialising in all aspects of civil engineering, is currently looking to employ a Site Engineer / Surveyor to engage on various civil projects across Scotland.

With the work covering wide geographical area, there is scope to employ staff in the following areas: Inverness, Moray, Aberdeenshire and the Western Central Belt along with the East Midlands.

The projects range from underground and overhead utility works, through to residential and commercial developments.

The ideal candidate will be able to undertake works on their own initiative, have an eye for detail, embrace technology and able to work as part of a team.

Typical duties would include:

  • Setting out of all the various works we are involved with.
  • Liaising with clients on site to establish ever changing requirements, meet their expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Carry out checks to designs on site and verify their accuracies.
  • Undertake Topographical and Measure Surveys and report back as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the above role
  • Experience of the use of Trimble or Topcon Survey equipment, to include for Network / RTK / Total stations
  • Full UK driving licence
