Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Shutdown Planner, based in Westhill Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities will include:
Work closely & effectively with the Shutdown Coordinator throughout the stage gate process in terms of developing & maintaining the composite Shutdown plan, detailing the sequencing & logic links between activities & understanding the resources required to deliver & support the planned activities
Assist the SD Coordinator to ensure agreed scopes are populated in the Shutdown Activity Register (SDAR) and expanding on this through close communication with Job Owners and Vendors .
Produce a High Level strategy plan & projected histogram taking information from the SDAR, Maximo, ProjectWise, Vendor Work Packs etc. Support the Shutdown Management of Change Process
Hold regular plan reviews both On & Offshore with Key Stakeholders to refine the Shutdown Plan ensuring efficient working and risk areas are mitigated against or highlighted. Create the Shutdown Plan from Pre-Shutdown, Execution, Leak Testing, Re-Instatement, Commissioning and Start Up. Publish a Histogram for Job Owners to finalise mobilisation plans aligned with the plan.
Build detailed, logic linked, scheduled and resourced plans in the planning tool for safe and efficient execution
Report Physical preps progress via offshore input, to monitor readiness for execution i.e. Readiness of Scaffold, Rigging, Permits etc

Minimum HNC or equivalent in Project Planning, a suitable discipline or relevant experience
A recognised Primavera qualification

Certification or experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - Maximo
Microsoft Office experience
A skilled user of Primavera P6 capable of producing Histograms & 'S' curves

Previous experience as a Shutdown / TAR planner in Oil & Gas
Excellent communication skills both with internal and external clients across disciplines
A good working knowledge of common office applications such as Excel, Word, & Power Point
