Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Shutdown Planner, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Generation of all Turnaround and Unit Outage Plans for the Shutdown Team
* Focal point within the shutdown team supporting the company Integrated Asset Planning Process
* Convene 1 to 1 meetings with all onshore department job owners to ensure progress of their shutdown related scopes remain on target
* Convene & chair regular shutdown meetings to:
 Maintain action tracking system
 Ensure all key lines of communication & reporting are defined & maintained
 Ensure optimum flow of shutdown planning information to all parties
 Monitor & identify progress in shutdown planning and preparatory activities
 Identify conflicts and implement corrective action as necessary
* Provide key link between operations & implementation workforce
* Throughout the shutdown development phase, actively challenge real plan logic at level 4 detail with Ops support teams & engineering
* Have major input to critical path implementation logic
* Provide planning input to onshore shutdown meetings & work scope review sessions.
* Provide daily progress updates during shutdown execution phase
* Provide input to daily shutdown progress information (daily report)
* Apply shutdown plan change control procedure
* Via the Shutdown Leadership Team, ensure that the onshore resource requirements are identified to fully develop the shutdown, and support the offshore team during the execution phase.
* Set up and administer a shutdown learning points database, and ensure lateral learning input from other databases

Experience & Qualifications:
* Experience of working in an offshore environment
* Experience in a similar position preferred
* Previous Planning experience in an Oil & Gas E&C environment
* Sound IT skills - MSP/P6
* Recognised training on industry standard planning packages and demonstrable experience in their use (Preferred)
