We have a current opportunity for a Service Operator II - Coiled Tubing Specialist on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Williston, ND. For further information about this position please apply.

  • Location: Williston, ND USA 58801

  • JobType: Contract through the end of the year, potential for extension or direct hire

  • Rotation: 2 weeks on, 1 week off

  • Shift: Day or night shift depending on need, 15-hour days

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, flights reimbursed or mileage if driving, housing provided in a man camp


Overview:

We are seeking experienced Coiled Tubing Operators to join our team in Williston, ND. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating coiled tubing units, coiled tubing pumping units, and nitrogen pumps. A valid well control card and CDL are required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience operating coiled tubing units, coiled tubing pumping units, and nitrogen pumps
  • Valid well control card and CDL required
  • Basic computer skills preferred


Responsibilities:

Operate coiled tubing control console, including blow-out prevention equipment, under supervision
Perform necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed
Coordinate the activities of service operators and operator assistants during the equipment rig up and rig down on location and the preparation of equipment for performing a job
Ensure customer satisfaction with jobs performed
Responsible for safe crane and rigging operations during the delivery of services
Provide planning necessary for the job
Perform data collection and distribution on jobs as needed
Assist with the clean up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job
Provide input on individual performance levels of subordinates, providing on-the-job skills development to enhance job performance
Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, practices, and guidelines
Possess excellent knowledge of standards, work methods, and processes.
Possess the ability to understand well bore schematic, analyze computer programs (Insite for Well Intervention), and operational procedures
Promote and take an active part in quality improvement processes
