Service Engineer/Supervisor

Our client are looking for a Service Engineer/Supervisor to be based in the Highlands.

Job Description

  • The position essentially involves supporting customers on a technical level focusing on field services, repairs, maintenance and provide technical support to customers with our clients products.
  • We are primarily looking for service minded person in a role which requires high level of technical, organisational and communication skills.

As a service engineer, your main responsibilities are (but not limited to) :

  • Manage service/maintenance obligations and performance in relation to customers
  • Day-to-day management of service facility and maintaining a proactive service culture
  • Plan and execute on-site services and in-shop services (installations, repairs, fault finding and setup of client products)
  • Administration and ensure fulfilment of service contracts
  • Provide troubleshooting, training, technical support and other services to customer via phone and/or remotely
  • Keep in close contact with customers and report on progress
  • Work closely with sales, support and internal stake holders to ensure customer success

Skills & Experience

  • Educated in electrical/electronic engineering, technology, computer science or similar
  • Moderate years working experience in related area
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role is an advantage
  • Good computer skills
  • Fish farming experience (advantage but not required)
