Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Subsea Project Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Support company in the delivery of safe and cost-effective subsea projects
* Responsibility for assigned front end subsea development projects throughout the early life cycle
* Engagement with Early Developments, Project Services, and Subsurface departments in order to frame potential Project opportunities
* Develop, review and update cost estimates and schedules for Concept and Define project phases.
* Develops and delivers Decision Support Packages
* Participates in Opportunity Reviews and Framing
* Works across subsurface, commercial, economics and Hubs functions
* Preparation of Requests for Quotation for subsea facilities & pipeline contracts and purchase orders.
* Participate in bid evaluations and clarifications and in developing RTA's
* Manage and coordinate the design and engineering work, material or
* Manages vendors within assigned projects
* Complies with company project and risk management processes
* Collaborate with Pipelines and Subsea Operations
* Manages project interfaces and across onshore stakeholders
* Provides input to annual budget and planning processes
* Ensure good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Implement standardised management reporting processes in accordance best practice

Experience & Qualifications:
* Engineering Degree
* In depth knowledge and familiarity with current UKCS legislative framework is required
* Subsea tie-in and pipeline project experience covering EPIC aspects
* Early phase project framing and planning capability, demonstrate-able select / define gate experience
* Field development knowledge
* Strong technical background within pipelines or subsea production/control systems
* Contract management experience also required
* Participation within multi-discipline Safety Reviews, including HAZID / HAZOP / HIRA
* Contribute/review/assist for Project/Activity deliverable documents and deviations to standards and standard practices
