Job description

Senior Project Manager
Fully Remote open to US Canididates only (Pacific Time hours)
Hourly Rate: $95-100/hr
6+ month initial contract

Main responsibilities include leading design, technical development, and launch of a suite of products within the Diagnostics Digital Platform environment that are scalable, collaborative, compliant, and in alignment with business goals.


Specific duties include but are not limited to:
* Connect the dots across multiple sources of insights and information, such as user surveys, research, and market analysis, to derive meaningful business, user, and product requirements for digital products that drive competitive advantage and growth
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones. Manage digital projects to ensure delivery on time, cost effectiveness and quality. Manage product backlog and prioritize based on changing requirements
* Own and author product management artifacts, including but not limited to, user needs, customer personas, use cases, acceptance criteria, product requirements, and product specification
* Set product strategy and roadmap that clearly outlines short and long-term product vision and strategy based on a deep understanding of user needs, business goals, market trends, and competitive landscape
* Identify opportunities where advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning can solve specific clinical needs posed by D3P users
* Understand complex regulatory environment surrounding health information in both research and clinical settings and how it impacts D3P products' definition and scope

The essential requirements of the job include:
* Bachelor's Degree computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of recent experience in product management or similar hands-on experience managing all phases of software development lifecycle across complex, petabyte-scale technologies
* Experience in documenting detailed software requirements, user stories, business processes, and/or software specifications
* Relevant experience working closely with clinical and scientific stakeholders to understand the voice of customer, user needs, and current workflows in order to concisely elucidate product scope and requirements reducing the complexity of software solutions
* Demonstrated ability to leverage data to identify impactful opportunities and drive strategic decisions and actionable recommendations. Ability to deliver insightful and logical data analysis & synthesis that uncovers customer and market opportunities.
* Deep understanding of biomedical analytical techniques and tools, as well as data architecture required for analysis

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, life sciences, or business
* Product management or product design experience for digital products within healthcare, life sciences, or biomedical industries
* Experience leading large, globally distributed, and agile software development teams, either as a Product Owner, Technology Lead, or Group Leader to solve complex, high-risk problems with innovative solutions
* Demonstrated success working independently on initiatives of high complexity, uncertainty, and risk with minimal guidance and direction
