Job description

Great opportunity to work for a small Operator in London as a Senior Production Engineer on North Sea projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Build a production surveillance infrastructure to allow
    • Evaluation and maintenance of production allocation
    • Collation of information to allow analysis of gas and condensate production and sales
    • Identification of water production if applicable
    • Communicating with onshore control room to efficiently manage production
  • Responsible for daily nominations against long- and short-term production forecasts
  • Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to
    • Optimise timing and value of maintenance work
    • Direct activities such as taking regular and representative HC samples
    • Maintenance/calibration of offshore wet gas meters
    • Collaboration with well operator in relation to well integrity issues
  • Monitor wells for any production behavioral changes - contribute to planning and coordinating any performance intervention activities
  • Flow assurance, working closely with Operations Team & Development Manager
  • Working with the Subsurface Team to develop Reservoir Management Plans

Qualifications & Experience

Your skills and experience will include:

  • 7+ Years experience of production engineering
  • Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with low perm hydraulically stimulated gas fields
  • Production management of gas fields
  • UK Southern North Sea experience
  • Experience using PETEX Suite (GAP, MBAL & Prosper)
  • Experience of using TNav software suite
  • Production chemistry experience desirable but not essential
  • Experience with hydrocarbon accounting software would be an advantage
