Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Surrey.

We are currently looking for a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Air Separation Technology (AST) Design team. We are looking for a creative and an innovative Mechanical Engineer to be based at our European Headquarters in Surrey, United Kingdom - with some travel

The research engineers in the team display strong inter-personal skills and work together with the entire Air Separation Technology and Product Line teams to deliver full plant solutions from the laboratory to the field.

This position requires a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in structural analysis and a broad knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals to design fabricated structures and mechanical components.

The candidate will be required to solve a variety of problems, which may involve plant layout optimization, packaging of plant equipment, high cycle fatigue, thermal stress, post-yield behaviour, high temperature creep, flow maldistribution, fluidization, solids handling, etc.
