Job Description

The candidate will be a Senior Piping (PDMS) Designer with a substantial, recent and proven track record of chemical, oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical projects and should be able to demonstrate experience, in a similar and relevant senior position, of FEED and detail design work including experience of site survey/measuring.

Responsibilities include site survey, and piping layout leading to a fully integrated 3D model . The designer would be working on a portfolio of work for various plants to the client local site standards and international codes and standards. Delivery will include detailed fabrication isometrics, Stress Isometrics where required, pipe support details, etc. up to and including the AFC issue.

Candidates need to be self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision to an agreed schedule and man hour allocation.

Essential piping design skills shall include recent Refinery or Chemical Plant project work.

Duties will include accurate site surveys and sketches, equipment and piping layout including the location of pipe supports. Piping deliverables are in the main 3D generated therefore previous PDMS experience and the application of laser scan data is essential
