Electrical & Instrument Engineer
Asset India / Mumbai- Offshore

Ensure optimum availability of all HSSE & Business critical equipments as per COMPANY Asset Integrity standards and accordingly plan & execute all scheduled and unscheduled activity.


Reports to Dy. OIM or E&I Team Lead

Key Accountabilities
* Maintain optimum equipment availability of all HSSE & Business critical equipments, safety of the personnel and the equipment to ensure uninterrupted running of the plant.
* Implement modification or up gradation of the instrumentation system by conducting feasibility studies
* Perform economic evaluation of existing and potential new control systems & eliminate deficiencies.
* Follow various types of maintenance standards (Preventive, Corrective, breakdown maintenance) and able to execute various maintenance tools like Condition Monitoring, RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and review reports for the same.
* Devise, Schedule and implement annual maintenance schedules in a cost effective and safe manner to enhance the productivity of the plant significantly by increasing the life of the equipment and ensuring continuous operation of the plant.
* Ensure all the operations are carried out in the plant as per the company recommended standard operating procedures and policies. Review, maintain and update the standard operating procedures, Task Risk assessment and permit to work (PTW) systems.
* Ensure effective use of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for scheduling jobs, generating reports, management of inventory/spares, reordering and proper record keeping.
* Participate in Emergency Response simulations in various roles and advise Assistant Manager on improvements.
* Leads the delivery and protects 6 weeks schedule wrt to core discipline.
* Leads system improvements for the discipline.
* Prepare and monitor various core discipline related Technical reports.
* Responsible for maintaining and meeting KPI scorecards of various processes like AI, BBS, Weekly Maintenance wrt to the core discipline.
* Delivers small projects which involves multidisciplinary team delegated by Assistant Manager
* Liaise with vendor representatives and contractor employees for safe and effective execution of job.
* Co-ordinate with other departments for the smooth running of the plant without any equipment down time. Carryout proper monthly planning and execute the plans.
* Ensure availability of production and safety critical items through continuous review of inventory level.
* Plan and execute Shutdown activities including material and manpower requirements in a cost effective manner.
* Carry out proper manpower planning in consultation with OIM and TEAM LEAD.
* Plan and act to maintain the Asset integrity of the equipments.
* Ensure that the internal / external audit recommendations are acted upon and closed out effectively.
* Ensure that all plant changes go thru the COMPANY management of change process by developing suitable documentation and seeking approvals.
* Perform performance and development related feedback and coaching sessions of the sub-ordinates in consultation with TEAM LEAD/OIM.
* Organizes various internal training/learning sessions for sharing knowledge and information's.
* Graduate in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
* Proficiency in MS office, CMMS system.
* Demonstrate good planning and execution skills to achieve targets in given time frame.
* Learn and transfer learning into operation and value.
* Plan and prioritize work effectively to achieve business delivery.
* Evaluate and challenge current practices and advise more efficient and cost effective ideas.
* Should have good communication and delegation skills.
* Lead teams performance.
* Proven skills in problem solving in relation to production related issues.
