Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Engineer, Offshore Structures (Decommissioning) on a contract basis. The position is outside of IR35 and will be fully WFH.

This is for 12 months +.

Candidates must have Decommissioning specialist experience.

The business performs a key role developing projects and providing expert engineering support to an operating business worldwide. The company has an integrated operation office in the UK.

The job involves some of the following responsibilities and skill sets:

  • Teamwork and collaboration with immediate and wider teams during the execution of assigned tasks.
  • To prepare and review all technical documentation related to structural design activities during the different phases of the project, such as conceptual study, FEED, tender and contract package preparation, detailed engineering, operations and decommissioning.
  • structural aspects of bidder call for tender and selection for EPC, T and I, platform decommissioning for example qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, and the rest.
  • Strong experience in analysis on design of offshore structures, in accordance with ISO1900 series, API RP2A, AISC, and DNV codes.
