Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Integrity Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* To maintain Risk Assessments, Written Scheme of Examination, Five Year and Annual Inspection Plans for all relevant components
* To provide justification for deferral of all planned inspection, monitoring activities and repairs
* To prepare a detailed annual and overview 'Life of Field' budgets in support of planned work
* To monitor and control expenditure, allocate and report costs as and when they are incurred against budget targets
* To ensure that all planned activities are captured within planning and logistic mechanisms
* To coordinate the preparation of all inspection workbooks
* To monitor and report the progress of all planned work scopes
* To maintain and manage accurate database of all 'above water' anomalies that ensures all anomalies are subject to suitable evaluation and identification of appropriate recommended actions
* To prepare and issue Annual Reports that summarise work completed, assessment of results and suitable conclusions and recommendations
* To ensure that inspection management database, drawing packages and other data sets are suitably maintained
* To liaise with the pipelines, structural, offshore discipline personnel and shutdown co-ordinators to understand work scope requirements, then manage resource and planning to ensure efficient work scope completion
* To organise and lead Corrosion Management Team meetings and effectively track actions
* To assist in improving the Integrity Management System
* To participate in safety audits and carry out technical audits as required
* To provide lead technical direction for integrity projects relating to life of field materials and corrosion control solutions
* To deliver sustainable improvements to the Integrity Management System, processes and procedures
* To provide advice and technical guidance to integrity engineers and other discipline engineers
* To lead engineering studies and reviews including recommendations for integrity upgrade projects
* To mentor and coach integrity engineers on any improvements made to the integrity management system
* To act as an advocate for safety and asset integrity within the business and proactively promote a frontline driven safety and integrity culture
* Champion a culture of Process Safety excellence at the company.
* Ensure that all relevant Regulations, Standards and Practices are applied within own area of responsibility.
* Ensure that standards of competence are met and maintained by all personnel within own area of responsibility.
* To work closely with vendors, building good working relationships to ensure a quality delivery for a shared goal.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
* Working towards chartered status
* Valid survival certificate and offshore medical
* Chartered status
* Post graduate qualification in relevant engineering discipline
