Senior Group Tax Manager

Orion have an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax manager to join our established in-house tax team working from our HQ in Inverness.

The post-holder will be accountable for the overall management of Group taxation both domestically and internationally and across personal and corporate taxes. The role will involve working closely with colleagues in operational divisions and finance, commercial and HR and functions along with liaising with Group accounting and taxation advisors, governmental tax offices and customers to ensure compliance in all tax related matters. The Senior Group Tax Manager will advise on all technical tax issues within the Group, direct the tax department's business support services and provide guidance to direct reports. Other key activities will involve establishing tax compliance procedures for new business locations, minimising commercial tax risk, and payroll and employment burden compliance.

This position will suit somebody who retains excellent organisational skills and can manage a diverse and busy workload. Senior level experience of tax affairs is required.
