FTSE 100 listed utilities company is seeking a Senior Group IT Auditor for their offices near Portsmouth. The role is set in a challenging and changing environment with demanding delivery timescales, therefore you must have had experience in a similar organisation. The Senior Group IT Auditor will be involved in delivering a portfolio of risk based audits with a primary focus on CYBER SECURITY and resilience.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Deep understanding of cyber security risk and control
  • Ability to identify risks
  • Understand technically complex IT and industrial control environments
  • Articulate technical issues to both tech and non tech teams
  • Support the development of junior IT audit staff
  • Demonstrable experience of undertaking process walkthroughs
  • Identifying controls and developing and implementing control test plans
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IT control frameworks and best practice
  • ISO27001 - NIST - COBIT- PCI-DSS - GDPR - essential
  • Ability to keep up to date with emerging risks and threats and how this will affect the Group
  • Highly experienced in CYBER security - threat intelligence, securing monitoring, security governance and defence against internal and external security threats
  • Apply Group Audit Methodology and standards - audit best practice and regulatory changes


  • Graduate IT or computer science related discipline
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor - CISA OR CISSP
  • Highly analytical
  • Excellent communication skills - assertive, strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Highly organising with excellent planning skills
  • A relationship builder
