We are seeking an immediately available Senior Front End Developer for our Oil & Gas Operator client based in Aberdeen.

You will be experienced in Software Development particularly with React.js and as well as JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. This is an ongoing PAYE contract, ideally seeking a start date of mid-May 21.

Responsibilities:

* Developing new user-facing features using React.js

* Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

* Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

* Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Experience & Qualifications:

* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

* Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

* Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

* Familiarity with RESTful APIs

* Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

* Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

* Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

* Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git

* Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus

* Experience with developing front ends for industrial applications is a plus.
