    • Responsibility for all cost management systems (incl. contract management, change control) within the project
    • Coordination of accounting and tax workstreams
    • Ownership of the budgeting process and project cost controls (incl. cash calls to investors) and respective reporting processes
    • Cooperation with legal, procurement and commercial functions
    • Coordination of efforts taking care of developing bankable project structures incl. construction and operational contracts
  • Ability to derive and challenge credible financial assumptions by benchmarking against other company Offshore Wind and Hydrogen projects and industry wide practices
  • Identification of (and drive where necessary) areas where the project economic return could be optimized; perform all necessary analysis in the areas and present results and the recommendation for consideration and approval
  • Continuous financial review and monitoring of the project economics and the reporting of results as required both within the project team (project director) and to the project steering committee (including, potentially, joint venture partner representatives), e.g. analyzing the implications of changes to MW capacity and size and timing of project phasing
  • Represents project from a finance perspective at steering committees and board meetings
  • Ensure all financial/commercial considerations regarding grid connections are considered
  • Support preparation of bid group papers/proposals including support of development of bid tactics in cooperation with the Project Director as well as the Commercial bid manager
  • Preparation of project approval papers
  • Setting up a project specific governance in cooperation with the Project Director and ensure that these are aligned where required with the project owners
  • Ensure (financial) best practice is delivered in the projects and lessons learned are shared with the Financial and Valuation Management team
  • Ensure lessons learned are collected, provided and applied to the project and packages

Your profile

  • At least 4-6 years' experience in managing large scale projects, preferably in renewables, power plant or hydrogen projects
