Orion Group Life Sciences are currently recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst on behalf of our Multinational Medical Device client based in Cork on an initial 12 - month contract (Potential to extend)

Role: Senior Financial Analyst

Reporting to: Team Lead Joints, BUF PIC COE
Outstanding opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst within the Hospital Medical Device (HMD) Principal, Inventory and Costing, Centre of Excellence (PIC COE). This Senior Analyst position operates in a dynamic global environment supporting multiple World-Wide Business Unit Directors to achieve inventory targets and deliver inventory reductions and efficiencies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary Finance business partner for the PIC COE inventory reporting team, supporting the operational reporting of Joints Gross and Net inventory.
  • Reporting, forecasting and analysis of Joint Reconstruction balance sheet inventory reserves.
  • Provide support to cross-functional projects impacting inventory and supply chain product flows.
  • Partner with the PLAN functional leads in the PIC COE for S&OP and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance to J&J World-Wide Procedures (WWP) and SOX controls.
  • Maintaining the highest compliance standards and assisting in audit and SOX compliance testing.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant.

Desirable:

  • 3+ years of relevant multinational experience.
  • Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry an advantage.
  • Proven track record in multicultural business partnering.
