***Great Opportunity for a Senior Estimator in the Ross-Shire area***

Key Responsibilities

  • Give direction and support to the Estimating team.
  • Coordinate with the construction team.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing the pricing strategy.
  • Liaise with other technical services departments and externally with clients, consultants and third parties.
  • Organize tender enquiries and supervise tender submission.
  • Investigate cost effectiveness and / or alternative solutions.
  • Organize start up and review meetings.
  • Prepare tender summary and contract budgets (post award)
  • Contribute to collecting and distributing of feedback.
  • Manage handover of tender estimating information to project team.
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff including PDR reviews.

Required Experience

Experienced Estimator from the steel fabrication / construction sector. Should understand the Scottish (and preferably Northern England) market. Should be able to work strategically and have sound knowledge of various forms of Contracts Should have good people skills and be able to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the company.
