Our Client, a Highland based Support Services Company within the Energy Sector, are looking to recruit a Senior Development Manager to their well-established team.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage a sustainable pipeline of enquiries and contracts.
  • Expand existing network of contacts to sustainably grow the business.
  • Work to the vision, strategy, and values of the company. You will represent the business at trade events, conferences, and exhibitions and where appropriate take the lead on making presentations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Understand target markets.
  • Regular customer focused sales contacts with both Developers and Tier 1's.
  • Pursue leads and follow through to successful conclusion.
  • Support with Pre-qualification, Compiling RFI's/ RFQ's and ITT's and following up clarifications.
  • Proven experience and successful career within a business development/sales environment for the offshore and onshore industries, particularly within the Energy sector would be beneficial.
  • Ideally have an established network of existing contacts and relationships

Competencies:

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational skills, with emphasis on prioritising, goal setting and delivering on objectives.
  • Ability to quickly identify opportunity.
  • Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Track record of consistently achieving company targets and goals.
