Our Client, an established Oil & Gas EPC company, requires a Senior Piping Design Engineer, to be based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. On a 3 month Contract.


As a Senior engineer - checker you will be located at our office in the area of Rotterdam and will be responsible for checking the isometrics and 3D model against the P&IDs, make sure that all the comments from stress isometrics are incorporated, check and optimise the routing of the non-critical lines if necessary. You should be very handy with the digital way of working and comparing lists in excel for fast checking of the database.


  • Work independently and /or in consultation with piping lead engineer.
  • Checking of isometrics produced by the designers against the P&IDs
  • Checking of the pipe supports in the 3D model.
  • Checking the navisworks model for clashes
  • Interface with different disciplines.

System experience:

  • Navisworks Simulate, PDF Xchange (or similar program for digital checking), Word, Excel

Required Experience:

  • Knowledge of engineering codes ASME, EN, Norsok
  • Experience with FPSO is a must.
