Responsible for preparation, management and closeout of pipelines/subsea contracts and purchase orders in accordance with corporate, business unit and JV requirements for the Project.

This position is responsible for delivering in four key areas:

1) tendering activities including preparation of tender packages, evaluating proposals, making award recommendations and preparing contract/PO documents,

2) contract administration and supplier management from award through close-out,

3) liaison and collaboration with corporate and business unit Supply Chain leadership, and

4) engaging with contractors/suppliers to ensure their activities fully comply with contractual requirements.

This position participates in forming the Project contract strategy for the pipelines/subsea scope, and leads the contract administration process. Areas that may be covered by this position include engineering, major supply contracts, construction, transportation, installation and commissioning.

Experience & Qualifications

Required
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or other relevant discipline.
* 15+ years of experience with contract administration on major offshore oil or gas projects.
* 5+ years of experience as a Senior Contract Specialist dealing with Subsea contracts on capital projects in excess of $1B.
* Proficient in written and spoken English.
* Able to work in groups.
* Strong communicator.

Preferred

* Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Additional professional certification, such as P.E. or C.P.M. preferred.
