Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Contracts Specialist/Quantity Surveyor, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Provide specialist contracting and procurement support to enable robust delivery of the commercial principles.
Provide Quantity Surveyor based review of the cost and schedule commitments from key suppliers, to fulfil company oversight of contractual provisions.
Maintain awareness of supply market dynamics, and an in depth understanding of spend profile under the contract.
Supplier on-boarding and proactive management of the Contract, in conjunction with the Project Management Team.
Develop, implement and sustain Contract Management Plans and KPI's.
Facilitate preparation for the Contract Review Meetings and Contract Steering Meetings.

Qualifications & Experience
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
Quantitative skills for contract cost estimation and valuation demonstrated through prior qualifications and experience with preference to direct Quantity Surveyor experience.
Direct upstream Oil and Gas contracting and procurement experience, with preference to upstream Quantity Surveyor experience.
Experience of procurement tools, techniques, commercial frameworks and relevant regulatory/legislative requirements & ability to ensure compliance.
Track record in delivering value led results.
