Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Contracts Analyst, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Undertake post-award contract administration including drafting and processing of amendments, variations and obtaining internal approvals. Contribute to the process of continuous improvement in the contracting process, including the adoption and sharing of best practice
Ensure a high quality of service is provided, that activities are completed to the highest professional and integrity standards and in accordance with Company`s contracting procedures/processes and business controls, whilst ensuring all decisions/commitments are recorded in an auditable manner
In conjunction with department manager's company representatives, monitor the performance of contractors and suppliers, developing highly positive and constructive relationships with key contacts, internally and externally and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders
Openly and proactively share knowledge.
Take ownership for the continuous development of personal and technical expertise and knowledge
Have a good understanding of outcome based contracting and ways to contract with suppliers that are not just time and materials unit rate based and actively encourage good performance.
Experience in working Projects, Subsea and Drilling and Completions scopes

Degree qualified or equivalent
Relevant experience in a contracting environment within the oil and gas industry
Solid understanding of the oil and gas industry supply chain market and it's contracting principles and practices
Full understanding of current UK/EU procurement legislation and the compliance requirements in terms of Supply Chain
High level of Commercial awareness and fully developed analytical skills in terms of contractual costs
Comprehensive understanding of contractual risk allocation
Highly developed facilitation and negotiation skills
Extensive experience in post award contract management
Good organisational skills
