  1. Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant - EIA Property, London - Salary: Senior Consultant - £34,000+ pa; Principal Consultant - £45,000+ pa.

What we're looking for:

We offer a range of environmental assessment and management services in support of planning applications / infrastructure consents and scheme delivery and therefore, we are seeking a bright and decisive senior consultant to

join our high performing property EIA team, in a client facing role.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant relevant experience within the environment, planning and/or sustainability sectors particularly in the EIA process;
  • Demonstrable experience at managing or coordinating complex EIA projects (from small to large sized projects i.e. <£200k) and project teams relevant to the required technical discipline;
  • Demonstrable experience of writing ESs for property developments and urban regeneration projects;
  • Demonstrable experience of working in and managing multidisciplinary project teams working to tight deadlines and strict budgets;
  • Demonstrable client / stakeholder interface experience;
  • Experience of undertaking ES reviews, and coordinating local authority frameworks;
  • Demonstrable experience of bid writing for property EIA projects;
  • Confidence, initiative, enthusiasm, and be outgoing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels.

It will be an advantageous if you have:

  • Experience in one or more of: strategic environmental assessment; sustainability appraisal; health/equality impact assessment; socioeconomic assessment; sustainability/ carbon footprinting; natural capitalassessment; masterplanning; habitat regulations assessment; ground contamination; hydrology and flood risk; traffic and transport assessment.
  • Experience developing and implementing environmental management plans / CoCPs (or equivalent) to support construction property development projects.

  1. Principal/Senior Consultant EIA Infrastructure - London - Salary: Senior Consultant - £34,000+ pa; Principal Consultant - £45,000+ pa.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced EIA practitioner to play a management role in infrastructure projects and bidding, primarily transport infrastructure.

Client care is at the heart of the role, which will require you to achieving a balance between delivering projects and developing new opportunities. Your role in project delivery may be as project director, project manager, framework

manager and/or technical lead. In business development you will spend some of your time pursuing long term higher value stand-alone projects, framework opportunities and key accounts. You will also lead or contribute to bids for

projects of all scales. You will be comfortable introducing a range of relevant Temple propositions including infrastructure route appraisal, Environmental Impact Assessments, pre-planning or construction environmental

monitoring/management.

You will use and actively develop a network of contacts in client organisations (e.g. transport project promoters and contractors), strategic partners and other collaborators to win and deliver work.

What we're looking for?

The successful candidate will have:

  • A track record of delivering successfully to clients in transport infrastructure
  • An active network of contacts in transport infrastructure
  • Specialism in one or more of the traditional EIA disciplines, planning or sustainability
  • Project management and people management experience
  • Bid preparation and business development experience
  • Confidence, excellent communication skills, and be client focussed
  • Energy and enthusiasm, with attention to detail and a creative approach to problem solving.

It will be an advantage if you have:

  • Project management qualifications
  • Experience of work on major non-transport projects and programmes
  • Experience in EIA for property development
  • Experience developing and implementing environmental management plans/COCPs (or equivalent) to support scheme delivery
  • Commercial awareness and familiarity with managing budgets as part of project delivery.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
