KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The senior completions and well testing engineer will be responsible for carrying out assigned work with particular emphasis on HSEQ performance and cost-effective delivery.

* Accountable for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken.

* Ensure that well design and construction procedures comply with well management system processes and procedures and the relevant legislative requirements.

* Liaise with subsurface teams and service companies to ensure that objectives for well construction, well intervention and/or well repair are set and fully detailed in the procedures for each well.

* Responsible for composition of all programmes and programme amendments for the construction, re-entry, repair of a well.

KEY TASKS

* Support the project team in submission for and the implementation of and adherence to project specific HSEQ and legislative requirements such as:

o Chemical Permit Compliance

o OPPC Compliance

o Relevant project EMP's

* Determine the specification and manage the procurement of equipment and services such as, completion tubular, sand control systems, completion components, cased hole clean up, well testing, data acquisition, well intervention design work and well integrity support. In line with Company guidelines including the generation of Call off's.

* Where required complete modelling and design work to develop a fit for purpose completion design in line with applicable standards.

* Provide technical analysis and solutions for well challenges.

* Liaison and communications with rig and service contractors in planning and operations processes.

* Day to day office based well operations support.

* Support preparation of statutory notifications to government and other parties.

* Support preparation of cost estimates and AFE's for planning and well construction/intervention/repair in line with Company policies and procedure requirements.

* Work planning and scheduling.

* Provide all technical support required in obtaining required permits, i.e. operational and environmental.

* Liaison with all other required disciplines, such as subsea and drilling as project requires.

* Participate in the inputting and tracking of all project actions and key legislation.

* Participate in the inputting and close out of all lessons learnt.

* Complete risk reviews and document same as required by the project.

* Participate in project meetings and weekly reporting requirements.

* Manage all aspects of the required end of well reporting by all relevant service companies.

PROBLEM SOLVING/COMPLEXITY

* Able to perform tubing stress analysis.

* Able to perform well control and hydrostatic calculations.

* Can calculate forces and tensions associated with interventions and completion operations.

* Understands metallurgy and elastomer selection processes.

* Broad knowledge of equipment available to achieve complex challenges.

* Broad knowledge and experience of fracking operations.

PERFORMANCE FACTORS

* Can demonstrate projects he/she has been involved in, and can list the commercial and technical success of those projects.

* Demonstrates strong and effective HSEQ leadership.

* Exhibits, and is committed to, a strong cross-discipline approach by which Production, Development, Wells and Project teams are supported and driven to work together seamlessly to deliver optimal solutions.

* Shows effective team building, and communication skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

* Formal engineering qualification preferred.

* Offshore experience in a well engineering discipline.

* Onshore experience with a major service company or operator.

* Valid IWCF certification.

* Offshore survival certification preferred.

* Knowledge and understanding on completion simulation software: Wellcat, Prosper etc.

* Fracking Experience

* Sand control and HPHT experience preferred.

* Jack-up, platform, and semi-submersible experience.

The Senior Completion Engineer will report directly to the Drilling Manager.
