Senior Engineer Automation

Responsibilities:

System design of Electrical automation systems (I/O-list, FS, SCD and HMI input)

Follow-up system design for electrical automation systems in Electrical equipment packages

Designing solutions according to client requirements

Follow up vendor technical documentation, participate in test activities, FAT.

Ensure the engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project

Interface with other disciplines, suppliers and client.

Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.

In cooperation with the client and contractors ensure efficient and coherent integration and design between offshore platforms.

Required expertise:

Education Bachelor degree

Minimum 8 years' experience from automation engineering in green field projects located on Norwegian continental Shelf

Minimum 4 years' Experience from SAS system design activities, including SCD development of PDCS

Systems, and responsibilities from green field projects located on Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Experience with communication protocols, such as Profinet and IEC61850

Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC

Have good communication skills

Be systematic and accurate

Achieve deadlines and quality requirements
