Our client is an Energy company who are a involved in the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity, in the production, storage, distribution and supply of gas and in other energy services.

Currently looking to hire a Senior Authorised Person to maintain the safety of persons working on or near a high and low voltage electrical network. To ensure safe and effective energisation of new & existing Wind Farm assets in accordance with the project milestones.

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

  • Previously authorised as a 33kV SAP - essential
  • Offshore Wind Farm experience - essential
  • Managing the Safety from the System requirement for aWind Farm in accordance with the Operational Safety Rules and associated procedures
  • Formulisation of energisation plan and commissioning switching schedules
  • Setting up contractor familiarisation and training courses - Competent Person, etc
  • Assisting the engineering department in the creation of the operational philosophy docu-ments
  • Participating in design reviews
  • Creation of specific procedures for WTG energisation
  • Attending FAT's and SAT's as required
  • Monitoring of contractors construction, installation and commissioning activities
  • Assisting the Lead SAP/Commissioning Manager as required

  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with Principle Contractors, Contractors, Package managers and other internal & external stakeholders.
