Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Accounts Payable based in Aberdeen.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring that invoices are processed accurately and on time, the accounts payable balances are clean, current and identifiable and that suppliers are paid according to company policy/suppliers agreed contractual terms. Ensure that all processes are SOX compliant.
Update corporate credit card reconciliation on a monthly basis (back up support only).
Assist with expense queries on Concur (back up support only).
Carry out monthly payroll review and approval (back up support only when UK TSC Manager/Subsea Controller unavailable).
Supervisor UK TSC Team as coverage for the UK TSC Manager being on annual/medical leave.
Supplier payment runs (weekly) or whenever required.
Process approved invoices into Navision/SAGE.
Weekly cash forecast on payments due.
Reconcile supplier statements.
Deal with supplier queries.
Process bank journals.
Reconcile Bank Accounts.
Maintain and control accounts receivable data, collating relevant credit checks and completion of documentation to allow the setup of new customers on Navision and Sage with appropriate credit limits.
Assist in credit control function where required.
Ensure appropriate documentation is kept up to date for SOX and audit compliance and assist with general compliance as required.
Ensure all process and procedures are compliant with corporate policy.
Deal with audit queries both internal and external for UK TSC (back up support only).
Any other ad-hoc duties required by the UK TSC Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
Degree qualification (Desirable)
Part qualified or qualified by experience (Desirable)
Previous experience within a similar role in AP/AR/Payroll (Essential)
Supervisory Experience (Essential)
