Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Sales & Business Development Manager, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities Include:
Continually and actively present and market company's services to existing and potential customers through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails and exhibitions/trade shows
Develop and maintain relationships within assigned region accounts with a view to increasing market share
Lead and manage the regional, technical and proposals sales teams to achieve departmental objectives and business plans
Maintain an understanding and knowledge of the market environment in which company operates, including undertaking market analysis
Continually identify, qualify and maximise opportunities to ensure sufficient levels of potential new business is maintained in the opportunity pipeline
Develop, implement and manage account plans that align with overall strategic business objectives
Assess new clients to determine account status potential
Achieve sales revenue and margins that meet management expectations and agreed objectives.
Based on the knowledge of regional activity periods, develop a sales strategy plan that achieves increased orders and equipment utilisation aligned to business requirements
Develop a business plan to support equipment utilisation targets including the carousel as a key asset
Develop and implement new customer and sub-regional sales tactics and detailed plans in conjunction with proposals team that align with overall strategic business objectives
Assess new opportunities potential in consultation with Proposals Manager. Develop and recommend commercial solutions that meet customer needs and maximise value
Lead commercial discussions with clients
Support the proposals groups pipeline model and use the data output to support customer interface through to order award
In conjunction with Proposals team, ensure all proposals are delivered with a high level of customer satisfaction
Support the development and use of the company Customer Relationship Management database and ensure it is kept up to date. Manage and maintain reporting structure in line with agreed requirements
Manage and develop marketing strategy and tactics that positively promote all aspects of business
Manage and develop Technical Sales Team to offer effective support in achieving business goals
Develop and maintain business development processes with a view to continuous improvement
Participate in Management Reviews, Management reporting and Regional reviews as required
Ensure compliance with company's Integrated Management System and promote the company Way
Promote company's Health and Safety policies, and communicate effective awareness of the risks and hazards to all personnel
