Safety Case Advisor

The principal deliverables will include some, or all, of the following (depending on scope of implementations assigned and skills of individual):

  • Production of change documents.
  • Production of safety case implementation plans.
  • Production of outage arrangements.
  • Review of instructions.
  • Preparation and delivery of safety case training.
  • Attendance at SCIP meeting as required.
  • Updating engineering schedule, safety case library and other records.
  • Organisation and attendance at meetings including meeting administration and production of minutes as require.
  • Other tasks as required to maintain the safety case.

Essential skills

  • Broad understanding of operations and project delivery.
  • Able to understand safety case documentation, engineering drawings and other related information.
  • Effective communication and team working - the role holder will need to work effectively with individuals in a number of teams and levels.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety case implementation.
  • Able to use standard IT packages and databases.
  • Able to work independently to high standards and in compliance with legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role.
